
Cynthia leads the CAI Climate Screening and Responsible Investment Program. This unique approach to real assets investing provides a differentiated and compelling advantage for CAI. By comprehensively screening for a bespoke series of climate risks, CAI can quickly identify potential impacts and opportunities driven by the accelerating climate crisis.
Her role encompasses spearheading the continuous development and deployment of CAI's Climate Screens, collaboration with CAI's portfolio companies as they implement their low-carbon strategies, and identifying investment opportunities that align with the latest developments in the transition to a low-carbon economy.
Prior to her role at CAI, she was a Partner at Fitzgerald Analytics, a consulting firm where she helped clients use data-driven insights to diagnose organizational challenges, develop tailored strategies, and drive measurable improvements. She also became an options trader and was recognized by the financial network TastyTrade as one of the few industry female “rising stars”.
Cynthia holds a M.Sc. in Environmental, Technological and Socio-economic Planning from Roskilde University in Denmark and a B.A. with high honors in Religion, with a concentration in philosophy from Wesleyan University. She also studied at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
Cynthia lives with her husband and daughter in Marin County, California where she enjoys gardening and exploring the outdoors.
