Julie brings significant experience at the intersection of industrial decarbonization, water systems strategy and climate investment.

Prior to joining CAI, Julie was a Senior Associate at Energy Capital Ventures (ECV), a climate-focused investment fund backed by several of North America’s largest gas and electric utilities. At ECV, she led investments across a range of industrial decarbonization sectors, including renewable natural gas, carbon capture and hydrogen. In addition to her investing role, Julie played a key role in shaping the fund’s strategic engagement model for Limited Partners, helping utilities navigate and deploy emerging industrial decarbonization technologies. She led the design and execution of technical workshops, research briefings on infrastructure trends and coordination of pilot projects with developers, and utility operators.

Before joining ECV, Julie was a Performance and Strategy Associate with SUEZ North America where she worked directly with the executive team across regulated and unregulated business units. In this role, Julie helped manage company-wide performance improvement initiatives across finance, engineering, operations, procurement, sustainability, and commercial functions. She also served as a Project Management Officer during the Veolia–SUEZ North America merger, overseeing integration across 27 workstreams and collaborating closely with senior leadership to design and implement post-merger synergies.

Julie holds an MBA in Sustainability Management and a B.S. in Quantitative Finance from Stevens Institute of Technology.
