Xavier joined CAI early in 2024, as an Operating Partner, after a 22-year career at Suez, holding progressively more senior roles from 2000 to 2022.

During his time at Suez, Xavier navigated leadership roles, positioning him to be repeatedly called upon to lead critical company initiatives and market transitions. His broad experience includes positions in audit, finance, operations and general management, bringing to CAI a unique combination of strategic agility and deep operational expertise in the water industry.

Xavier began his career with Suez as a Corporate Auditor, performing due diligences and post-acquisition audits on a global scale. He then worked on a 3-year assignment in Buenos Aires participating in the renegotiation of the concession contract with the Argentinean government. More recently, as President of the Environment Services Division in North America, he led a $350M P&L with 70 water, wastewater, and waste contracts and 1,200 employees across North America.

Before joining CAI, Xavier started his own consulting firm, advising Private Equity & Infrastructure Funds in their water strategy.

Xavier holds a TRIUM Global Executive MBA (three jointly issued degrees) from NYU Stern, London School of Economics, and HEC Paris. He also has a master’s degree in Business Administration from EDHEC Business School in France.

As a Dual citizen of U.S. and France, he operates with an inherent global mindset, having lived and worked in France, Portugal, Argentina and the U.S. Xavier is based in New York City and Westchester, and enjoys time with his wife and his two teenage children.
